Citadel Shipping Service, Inc.

Citadel is the General Sales Agent of Hyundai Merchant Marine, one of the world’s leading marine transportation companies, moving cargo from the Philippines to the United States, Europe and Asia. Citadel’s relationship with Hyundai dates back to 1991, ushering a new agency agreement, after almost 30 years as the principal agent of Ben Line Containers Ltd. in the Philippines. Citadel Shipping has a long history of service to various other principals acting as general agents at one time for Sealand, Zim Container Service, Fuji Kisen Lines and Mitsui OSK. Citadel’s current principal and global partner, Hyundai Merchant Marine, is also a proud member of The New World Alliance (TNWA), in partnership with American President Lines and Mitsui OSK Line, the world’s leading carrier group.

Rapid, Inc.

The company is the Rapid, Inc was formed as a result of the joining together of merger of Citadel Logistics Inc., and Rapid Airfreight Inc, created in in 2003, and it serves as the primary operating logistics services business of Citadel.

Rapid Airfreight was one of the oldest airfreight forwarding and brokerage services compan y ies in the Philippines serving numerous local and multinational exporters . while Citadel Logistics , on the other hand, specialized in serving sea freight forwarding and brokerage requirements. The combined resources of these two companies create a stronger, more efficient forwarding and logistics operation geared to wards the global challenges of the 21 st century.

After an initial exclusive partnership, with Kintetsu World Express Ltd. and subsequently Vantec Worldwide Transport Co. Ltd. (formerly Tokyu Air Cargo Ltd), Rapid has opted to establish several agency agreements with forwarding companies in Key Asian markets. These include Naigai Nitto co. Ltd and I-Logistics Corporation in Japan, Pacific Integrated Logistics Company in Singapore, Pankorea Express company Ltd and Korea Express Company Inc in Korea, and Triple B Forwarders in Guam and Saipan.

Rapid continues to serve various local and multinational customers including Procter & Gamble Philippines, PLDT, Texas Instruments, Cummins, Toshiba, Tokyo Dress, Sanyo Seminconductor, H3 technology, Dole Philippines, Hitachi, and R&Y Augousti.
